Once you receive your modular unit, here’s what to expect next!
Team Allied will deliver, service, move, and pick up your modular units. We pride ourselves on a quality experience, and here are a few great tips regarding the delivery and set-up experience.
Delivery
Your office trailer or storage unit location should be in a clear area with enough room for the Allied truck to pull in and deliver it. The next step is to make sure the entire unit is level and on firm ground. If the modular space is not level, it can become damaged. If you are setting it on soil, you may need to set it on level concrete blocks to ensure it does not sink.
Anchoring and Skirting
Once your unit has been delivered, our team is available to help anchor your unit for extra stability and support. If you’re renting a modular office trailer, we also have a team ready to provide skirting at the base of your unit. Skirting is a great way to enhance the look and stability of your unit. Ask your sales team member about our options for your unit today.
Connecting Utilities
All Allied Trailers modular offices come with electrical panels and the ability to hook up to the nearest electrical outlets for overhead lighting, heating, and cooling. You can also hook the trailer or container up to the water and sewage supply for the ADA-compliant restrooms and custom plumbing solutions. Our sales representatives are always here to provide a list of preferred vendors as well.
Security
You may want the premises around your modular spaces to have security. School grounds and construction sites, for example, may need metal fencing to secure the property from trespassers. Allied does provide steps, but some customers choose to purchase or build their own. Our newest models come with exterior security lighting, which aids in safety during the night.
Furnishing/Storing
The last step is to furnish your new office space or utilize your storage container by loading it with inventory. Allied Trailers’ office trailers come with built-in desks, overhead shelving, and optional planning tables and filing cabinets. If you have retail products or other inventory, our storage containers will help you keep your supply safe and dry. There are many models and layouts available, and floorplans are available on our website.
