Renting an Office Trailer or Container

Renting an Office Trailer or Container

Looking to rent an office trailer or container? Here’s an outline on what to know beforehand.

Although we live in a digital world, the need for physical space is always necessary for business. Businesses of all kinds, from hospitals to construction to retail, need extra space from time to time or on a regular basis. On the east coast, Allied Trailers has eight locations dedicated to fabricating and delivering quality office trailers and containers to your business. If you are renting an office trailer or container, here’s what you need to know before getting started.

Office Trailers

Mobile office trailers are constructed on a metal frame with wheels and automatically require OSHA-approved stairs or ramps to access the front door. Allied Trailers’ products come in multiple dimensions and can either be a single office unit or a combination of office space and storage.

Their office trailers come with fully-finished interiors and exteriors, security windows and doors, HVAC, fluorescent overhead lighting, and electrical outlets. You can also include planning tables, partitioned rooms, desks, and other amenities in your order.

Office Containers

Allied’s office containers come with the same level of high quality construction and comfort. They also can be a single office unit or an office and storage combination. The difference between a mobile office trailer and a container is that the container sits at ground level. There is no need for stairs or ramps; however, the delivery team may need to place concrete blocks under the four corners if the ground is soft or on uneven ground.

Choosing Right

How do you choose between an office trailer and container? Both have standard benefits such as durability, security, and comfort. However, office containers typically have a steel frame and may have barred windows, making them highly difficult to burglar. Office trailers may be easier to transport, as they sit permanently on a chassis, but office containers are easier to access at ground-level and equally difficult to break into. Allied Trailers can help you determine which type of temporary office space is right for your business.

When to Rent

Once you have determined which product is best for your industry needs, it’s time to consider whether to buy or rent it. Renting is optimal if you only plan to use the unit for less than three years. Another reason to rent is that your long-term temporary office needs are unpredictable. In any case, Allied Trailers offers a minimum 2-3 month lease for their products.
